MARAN DRY MANAGEMENT INC. ACHIEVED CERTIFICATION AGAINST ISO14K AND OHSAS18K

Following a two-day Stage 1 audit in September 2017 and a four-day Stage 2 audit completed earlier this year in June, Maran Dry Management Inc. management system has been assessed by ABS Quality Evaluations and found to be in conformance with the requirements set forth by ISO 14001:2015.

This prestigious certification signifies and demonstrates that MDM is committed to conducting its activities in a sustainable and responsible manner with the ultimate goal to eliminate, as much as possible, any impact on biodiversity, quality of marine environment and on natural resources.

The company’s target is environmental excellence beyond compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.

During the same auditing process by ABS Quality Evaluations, Maran Dry’s health and safety management system was reviewed and verified as compliant with requirements set by OHSAS 18001:2007.

Certification against such demanding standards signifies our commitment to providing high standards of occupational safety and hygiene onboard vessels, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace and promoting the systematic implementation of targeted action plans, aimed at minimising health and hygiene risks in the long term.

Overall, Maran Dry maintains Certification, in excess to compliance with mandatory regulations such as ISM/ISPS/MLC, against ISO 50001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and TRACE.
